# 20 to 43

I'm running late. This means that I will have to scramble to get the 20 posts in time for my 43rd birthday.

Given that this is a new blog space, and I don't have a plan in place, I can't pretend that I know that this is going to end well.

Last year (and the year before) I tried to get 20 short stories written and posted here. The positive side of this is that I wrote a lot of stories, some of which I'm pretty proud of. The less positive side of this is that, in both cases, I burned out and failed both blog challenges.

I'm tempted to try that challenge again. There's something to be said for persisting until successful. And given that I've already worn a good groove on failing this one, it won't hurt so much if I don't finish.

Maybe that's not the most positive way to look at a challenge, but that's what I have to give.

So, short stories it is. I'll come up with a list of them later on today and let you know what they are.
